Sorry Ken, I forgot to p.m. you. There is no way I'm going to be able to break away durring the week this week. I'm totally busy and I have a wedding to go to on Friday (will probably see JJ there).
Did you go check it out?

I'm still up for the 24th "practise" session. The afternoon (2-3) would probably work best for me and Matt.

I'll be there at 3 with my son Matt. I'm going to stop by that little park in Carlsbad by the Cobra building (we stopped there during the first GTG) to take some pics of the stang for Ebay. I should be there about 2:15 if anyone wants to meet at the park first and drive over to K1 after the pics. The park is only a mile or so from K1.

Well, that was pretty cool!
Pierre was the fastest.
We need to get the whole group together there.
maybe for a few races or the "Grand Prix" next time (12 practice laps, 14 qualifing, and a 16 lap race).

Very cool! I'll have to work with my son's "blocking" techniques to keep you guys behind me though. Those karts really fly. Top speed down the front stretch is around 40mph, but it feels like 60. I'm sure we can cut a few more seconds off the elapse time next go around. Trick is not to carry too much speed into the corners so you don't slide and lose time. Other trick is too ignore the blue flag being waved in your face
