On the subject of additives, I used some Barryman B12 in my gas tank (one can on a full tank) and it really freed up some hp by unclogging my injectors. I would recommend this stuff to anyone with high mileage engines. As for seafoam....Parts Store here i come!

yeah, you don't need to use the brake booster line...I used the one marked "B/R". I had some of that tubing that you use for fish tanks, you know that clear plastic tube stuff.
I poped the cap off of the vac. tree & slide the tubbing over that connection. It's almost a perfect fit. Then I put the other end of the tube into the Seafoam can & let it suck it up. It worked a little better than the funnel because the tube is small so it sucks it slowly. And you have better control of it going in because you can just pull the tube out of the can when you want to stop putting it in.
I don't know about more power, but I could definitely feel a smoother idle. I'm going to run another can when I change the oil this weekend.

This stuff has been around for years. Its very good in the oil, throttlebody, or a vacuum source to get into the intake and upper cylinders. You will get a lot of smoke, especially if you use the whole can. I only use a 1/4 can for each application. My favorite reason for using it is to decarbon the engine and restore a smooth hesitation free acceleration. I let the car idle for a few minutes after treatment and then go for a quick ride. I use it in all three of my cars. There is a spray version available as well. Use it in between oil changes for best results.

wouldnt that totally clog your catayltic converters is you pump that much "burning oil" through your exhaust system?

I was thinking that to Pete I mean my GT doesn't have cats so no problem there, but my 2.3 does and I Am not sure what effect it would have.
read the can, it says use while running, then turn off car for 5min. and then crank it back up. thats to let it break up the carbon in the combustion chamber. if your using it while its running(probably light throttle to keep it running) all youre doing is burning it. it has to sit in the combustion chamber to work well.
just a word of wisdom, b12 chemtool does work well, but i wouldnt use it often. the main ingredient is tutolene(sp) which will give you very high combustion chamber temps, not to mention is will dry out your cylinders. not saying dont use it, but after you do you should run some 2cycle oil through the tank as well.The Shape said:
