Seafoam is teh *****!

Ok so i put it throught the pcv valve, the engine is warm as directed on the bottle. Pour about 1/2 the bottle slowly, let it sit for 15min turn it on and nothing! not even a fart! what gives??? this crap sux! i doubt my engine is carbon free after 69k miles

Did the PCV valve that you put it into have suction? If not, then you probably did the same thing that I did on the first try. Try feeding it into the intake instead, on one of the hoses that has a LOT of suction.
 
Yes it was the pcv and has ALOT of suction. It would rev uncontrollably if i didnt keep pouring it in though, kinda like making it choke to stay in the 1500-2000rpm range.
 
I seafoamed the car today...(1997 GT Vert w/109k) and it didn't ever smoke :shrug: I don't know, maybe it was already done recently before I bought it or it is really clean already?

Let it sit for 15 minutes and started it up and no smoke...

Well, I did the seafoam, and, well...nice smoke. The car ran slightly smoother, but nothing that Techron couldn't make. I suppose mine didn't have that much carbon. Ill drop another can in the next oil change though..

Seafoamed the stang tonight. Quite a bit of smoke even tho I only have 40k on her. Got an mpeg but its huge - I'll trim it and post it.

Couldnt drive her tonight - had a few too many! I'll see how see drives to work in the am.:nice:
