Was replacing my PCV valve today, so I picked up some Seafoam on the way home from work along with the motorcraft valve. I would assume I put in about 4 ounces directly to the PCV valve while motor was running via funnel (too much of a pain in the ass to remove the hoses from the plenum). I definitely didn't have a gigantic smoke show, but then again I use fuel system cleaners on a regular basis. It's been raining here and when I pulled back into the driveway and took a look around the car, I noticed my rear bumper was covered with black specks. I guess I didn't get the huge white plumes I was looking for, but I did get some garbage to come out. Would it be more effective if I use a larger dose and put it in through the brake booster instead of directly through the PCV valve?

wat I did was take off the hose from pcv valve and turn the engine on, and let it suck in whole bottle , easy on it cause if you let it suck you too much it will choke and die any way, after the can is empty, turn off the engine and wait for 20-30 min, remember to connect the hose to the pcv, and turn on the engine, rev the car up to 2k-2.5k, dont go way too crazy for it, and enjoy the smoke show, I did that at the auto part , every one think im crazy but I just smile at them . some poor guy park right next to me when im about to turn the car on after let it sit for 30 min, it smoke so much that cover all his car, , he ran out and cry at me and say " at least to told me about that, cause I just wash my car ). any way I havent do it for last 5 month and I have a heavy smoke show, I guess i do it before oil change, mabe half can. half on gas tanks.

Anyone have a pic of this PCV tube?
I ran some Seafoam through a vacuum tube connected to the plenum, and didn't get that much smoke. Maybe my engine was pretty clean?

Everything you ever wanted to know about Seafoaming your Mustang and probably some of the stuff you never wanted to know is located right HERE.

I don't see the use of another drawn out, detailed thread on the subject.
