Seats Compatibility for an 86 mustang gt

We are looking for a new interior for a 86 mustang gt. we have found a complete set from a 1993 ford mustang lx 4cyl. will this work in our car? Will it bold right up or do we have to make modifications. We are also looking at a set of the racing seats just for the front what does that include to bolt up?

The 86 GT Halo Headrest Seats are great seats.

The 4 banger front seats will bolt to your 86 frames with no problem.

I will be happy to accept the 86 seats if your giving them away!!!

Hmm....not sure what we are doing with them yet.

Just to let you know these seats are not in mint condition....few rips here and there, also, where are you located so I can figure out shipping prices if we decide to give them to you

The fronts bolt right in. All front seats with the rails are interchangeable from 79 to 2004. The rears have a different mounting setup for the seat bottom, so be sure to get the big "U" shaped bars under the seats and the bolts for them. They are what hold the seats in place.

i put a set of tenzo r's in my 93 i had to make adapter plates but at $450 for the pair it was a good deal, have stood up well, and i think they saved me some bumps and brusies in my wreck, also apc make cheaper seats that i am sure will work but you get what you pay for
