Second gear pop's out!!!

hi guys, is't been a couple of time when i'm just driving slowly in second and POP i fall into neutral, did any of you guys had this kind of problem. I don't seem to have the 1-2 shifting probleme for now but i keep my finger crossed.

Do you have a short throw shifter? I know when I first put my shifter in I adjusted the stops too far. It woulnt allow it to go into first all the way and it would pop out. Also Im sure you know when your going a certain speed and the trany and the engine move at the same speed it lines the synchros up in the trany and then you can shift with out the clutch. I dont know if this helped or not. Im not quite sure if you mean it poped out really bad or just kinda of sliped out?

no i still have the original shifter, and like you say it pop out, but all the time it did it was when i'm just running in a parking in second gear and...pop in neutral. Never did it in normal driving or fast driving..hehe

Second gear synchros are the first thing to wear out on our trannies because that's the gear you jam the hardest. My guess is your synchro is toast.

i'm not that hard but could be, like you said when i want to speed...a bit hehe the synchro of the 2 gear always seem to have a hard time.

I will ask the dealer to see what kind of BS he will tell me.

mine popped out like j-lo's t*t until i got a steeda tri ax. (well, a few times) never done it since.
