I will be selling my stang. I know highly modded cars bring no money.

So here is my dilema. Take the time and effort to part the car out and sell the shell. or take a huge loss and sell it as is.
What do you guys think is reasonable for the car. Its not perfect for sure. But I dont think the car would bring 8k. Parted I could get 10+ easy enough from the parts.

Car made 660rwhp 570rwtq on Pump Gas, excellent body. Never driven in snow or bad weather. I had the car shipped from San Diego California 3 years ago

i had the same dilemma a while back but with far fewer mods. i opted to take the loss and sell the car as is to avoid the time and hassle. that is just me though. just out of curiousity, after all that work what is your reawson for selling? i would have a tought time parting with it.

That would be a really tough call. If you were to sell it as is, there is always the chance of getting an indecent buyer who will just part the car out himself and make a few grand off of it. The thing looks like an absolute monster the way it is, I know if I eventually get my car to that level of performance, I'd probably never get rid of it. You mentionned you still have the stock motor for it, depending on the mileage, it might be a good idea to take out the engine you have in there now and keep it for a future project (if there are plans for one) or sell it. You'll surely get more money out of it if you sell it with the stock motor and sell the 331 on the side.

That said, you should keep it if at all possible, that thing's a BEAST!

i would suggest parting it out and give me a really good deal on some parts.....

honestly though, i would try to sell it outright first. How strapped for cash are you? i would post it for like a month or two and if you don't sell then part it out.

Im not strapped at all. Just moving on. I did what I wanted to with the car over the last few years. I am selling off most of my toys 70 Z28, 99Z28 1LE, boat etc.

I actually had alot of fun with the car.

I will work on listing it. But I know how people are. Parting it out may be the best.

Its been fun stangnet.

I would try to convert it back to stock as you can. Put a stock or closer to stock motor in it, sell/trade your stuff for stock parts + cash and then sell the car as a running GTS. I also think you would have no problem selling that car for more then 8k. My friend bought a 95 cobra with a stock shortblock, stock tranny, and an s-trim for almost 12k.

Wow, that is a nice car. If you decide to part it out, I would be interested in the Cobra R's, or the tremec.

I have dibs on the hood, tranny bell, and longtubes... But on the other hand you should just keep it, sell all the others and the misc. parts and keep the finished car, (there really never finished) but you get my drift.

if you find the right buyer, you should be able to pull top dollar for that thing just how it is. you just need to wait for the buyer that wants a gorgeous looking highly modified car and is willing to shell out the cash for it. if all you get are $8000 hits on it i would definitely part it out. the motor/tranny combo is nearly worth that by itself not to mention the t-trim and all the other stuff. if you do decdide to let it go for 8k though let me know.....ill most likely take it off your hands.

I am not in a rush to sell it. Just want to recover as much as possible from the car. I am working on figuring how much my time is worth putting it back close to stock. I kept almost all the original parts. so its just a matter undoing what I did. I see there is alot of interest in the parts though.

The car really is a monster. I can destroy most any car at will. Blew the doors off a new viper a while back. The look on his face was worth it all.
