A few of my buddies that have foxbodies tell me i should stop wasting money in my 94 vert gt and get a 88-93 foxbody... when i asked why they said the 94 vert weighs too much which means more money for making more power.... give your thoughts everyone please?!?!?

DONT DO IT!!!! While I respect the foxbodies, the 94+ have a much stiffer structure, much less rattles/squeaks, and is a much more solid car. On top of that, you will get far more looks, and far more possible scores with the ladies in a 94+ vert than in ANY foxbody.

is it a DD? I have one of each and the 94GT is a much better daily driver, IMHO.

but with the right mods (look at Patrick's new fox, for instance), the foxes are just as competant.

good luck with the decision. :nice:

I too have one of each. And although I love the looks of both cars, my 95 is a much better riding and performing car. Both have eibach pro kit springs and my 92 not only rattles but rides like a lumber wagon in comparison to the 95. But I like it :) I'd keep what you have if it's a daily driver and you like it.

I think it really depends on what you want the car for. If you want a comfortable cruiser that can be made easily into a 12-13-14 second car, stick with the SN95. If you want a badass 10 sec weekend, dragstrip and infrequently to work terror, it's fox body all the way. When I wrecked my 1991 GT hatchback, I had always wanted a cobra, I also wanted a newer, more luxurious car, plus I had 5.0 parts out the wazoo, so I bought a 95 cobra. You'll be surprised at exactly how many things are incompatible between 93 and 94. If you plan on building a somewhat exotic, stroked, fuel injected, blown, best of everything MM&FF has to reccomend, stick with 79-93 cars and save yourself a lot of money, time and heartache. :nonono: simply put to any of your questions, YES, they make that part exactly how you want it for your 79-93 car. just try finding options for water pumps for your car, or an oil cooler gasket, or the lines running away from it.....and so on and so on.

Not sure I completely agree with that... :D
