I plan on selling a 75' coupe project car that I have. I know that these cars are super rare, but im not sure what to start asking at. The car is what appears in my signature. Except, long tube headers are now gone, as is H-pipe. Still side exit duel exhust.

Fiberglass bumpers, were not used as skins, rather just bolted on. Could use new brackets made for them. Theres alot of bondo in the rear quater panels, They should be replaced, but could be smoothed out by a body shop in less then a day. Theres no rust on the car, never seen winter. Was totally striped, now its in primer, about 5 more hours of body work would have it ready for paint i would think at the most. (plus the quater panel work). Motor and tranny are original and fresh, as is rear end. interior is 90% complete. needs seat belts, and backseat side panels (quater panels?), and a few peices need to be dyed to a darker shade of blue. Also needs the trim around side windows.

Im a student, and need to sell this bad boy. Im sad to see it go but, i need some cash. I tried to be as honest as possible with the description, so what is a reasonable offer for the car?

Well, sorry to say, but you're just on the wrong coast for me, buddy. :( That and you sold a pair of key parts that would have gotten me even more interested. Good luck with it. Tr adding up what you have into it and see where you stand there. Keep in mind that Coupes just don't draw the $$$ the fastbacks do. :nice:

Quarter panels are very difficult to replace. Also your car is a primered coupe without a V8... not very appealling to most buyers. If I had to sell it, I'd start the bidding at a hundred dollars. I'm *guessing* that you should get somewhere between $500 -1500 out of it. It is really hard to be more exact without pictures.

the motor is a fresh rebuild. i'll try to get some pictures of it. The quater panels are the only actuall body work needing to be done, the rest is just finishing. A body shop could just smooth them out with more bondo, but that isn't really the way to be doing things (fixing bondo with bondo). In hindsight, if i had know that there were repro quater panels out there I would have bought them, but im only finding these things after i've come to the point of selling the car.
