Selonoids on shock tower?

Yes I think I am going to leave it in there. Right now I have to work on my tune to get this running good after I swapped my intake. The previous tune was bandaided because I had a major vacuum leak. Now I have no leak so it is running pretty rich.

Well I guess I don't have to worry about the solenoids anymore

Wow man. That's terrible.

Did you by chance not tighten down your fuel rail properly after the intake swap? I'm asking because I had an engine fire when the passenger side rail lifted off the injectors once. Engine heat ignited the fuel instantaneously.

Regardless of the cause, sorry that happened to you...

I don't know what happened, smelled fire so I pulled over. In 2 minutes the front end was flaming pretty good. What sucks is I had to stand there and watch it burn till the fire department got there 10 minutes later.

Reminds me I need to check on the fire extinguishers in our cars.
I know my 87 doesn't have one yet.
Gotta keep one in your cars guys.
I know from experience that when you need one, you are glad you had it.
