does anyone know where I can find a service/repair manual for the 99-03 gt's? Chilton, Mitchell and Bentley don't make them yet, or at least I can't find them. I'm looking for a good one with descriptions of full tear downs and rebuilds, torque specs for bolts, clearances, etc. I'm considering looking into the ford dealer one, the one they use in their shops but I'm sure that's pricey.

Helm publishes the Ford factory manuals. The printed shop manual is $136 for the 2003 model. It's almost 3" thick and has everything you are looking for, but no wiring diagrams (they are in a separate manual).

You can get a service manual CD on ebay by doing a search on "mustang service manual". Or if you are looking for a Chilton type of manual, you can get one from Haynes. They sell them at autozone.

haynes for the 03s doesn't actually come out till the end of the month...I've searched autozone, discount auto, even barnes and noble and they all say it'll be out by the end of this month

Are you sure?? I got one (Haynes) back in December for 1994 thru 2003. Unless you're talking about one only for 2003. In that case, I don't have one.

I have the Haynes 03 manual right here in my lap. Book #36051.
I've had it about 2 months.

Got it from B&N

Crap! Now that I look at the link, it's a preorder site. Let me see if I can find where I got it from. It was one of the online bookstores.

I'm pretty sure I have the 94-2000 something or other Haynes manual. Rather hokey and incomplete. I also have the Ford manual on CD. Shhh.
