Ok im putting a set of ford racing roller rocker arms on (1.6) on. Now i put head gaskets on it before and when i reinstalled the rockers back on i never put each cylinder to tdc. I just tightend them down and my car worked fine. I was wondering do i need to put each cylinder at tdc when i tighten the rollers down or will that really screw thing up if i dont also, will the vavle lash be off if i do just tighten them down?

That's really not possible...some of those lifters would of been on the cam lobes and not the base circle.

I'm surprised it even ran...valve events would probably of been messed up.

Do a search for correct rocker-setting procedures...they've been gone over many times before.

I think he is talking about ped mounts and if so, it just don't make no difference!

Yea they are ped mounted. So it doesnt matter if i just leave them the way they are and just tighten them down? So i dont have to put each cylinder at TDC when im tightening them down?

Yes, if nothing like, heads milled or anything else done to change the dimensions in the valve train.

You should be able to just bolt them on cause all the measurements are the same.
