We'll go in order of importance for this.
1) My transmission is hanging on for dear life at this point, I know it's time for a change. I've been thinking about getting one of the T56 swap kits from D&D Performance. The kit comes with the transmission, bellhousing, aluminum driveshaft, and crossmember. What else will I need, if anything? Any other suggestions as far as transmissions? Is there a good how-to somewhere on here that I could use to do the swap?
2) My car has been running warmer than usual according to the temp gauge and I'm assuming I just need to flush the coolant system and get some fresh coolant in there, I've never done it before so I just need some instruction.
3) The exhaust rattle on my car is unbearable!! I installed the Flowmaster American Thunder kit with the 2 1/2" tailpipes, since then it just rattles like crazy. What have you all done to fix this problem? I've heard of using urethane exhaust hangers, but that's about it.

1) I have no knowledge about this to help you

2) No sig provided so I have no idea how much power (heat) you are producing
but
flush and new coolant will be a good start
however
more mods mean more heat

There can come a time when the oem stock system is just not able to keep up and an upgrade can make a big difference.

3) You just gotta get under there and make sure everything is lined up good and secured good.

I have CAI, UDP's and header back is aftermarket. This is just a recent occurence, however it's become more consistent so I am starting to become slightly concerned. What do I need to do to flush the system?

I did an auto to t-5 swap, are you dumping the auto for a stick?
I read thru here before, or maybe the corral...(you can search for it), but there was a thread about replacing the rad cap, seemed to be alot of success with that....
Aas for the exhaust, jack it up and put it on stands near the wheels, maybe put some weight in the seat to simulate you, then have a look underneath....probably the tailpipes where they go over the axle...

1.) if your swapping a t-5 with a t-56, the D&D kit is pretty complete from what i gather.

2.)stock temp gauge in dash i assume. those aren't to trust worthy, but flushing the system is a good start and getting a new rad cap and t-stat.

3.)jack up the car, start it up, get under there and see where and what it is hitting. shut off car, loosen bolts, readjust piping, have someone hold it while you tighten the bolts back up.

Yeah with the exhaust you have to make sure its not touching something. I have to hold mine in place when i tighten it or it will rest against the frame and rattle.

just a comment on the exhaust rattle, I had to re-adjust my tails about 5 times before they stoped rubbing on the side of the gas tank (really annoying sound). The rear hangers were at fault, and I just rigged something up to keep them in place.

That's exactly what mine are doing. I know it's because the hangers are keeping them still enough, I figure if I can get a stiffer hanger than it eliminate most of the rattling.

My exhaust rattles some when I'm down below a quarter tank of gas. You said this just started so do what I do and just keep more gas in it haha

Ok so I know I'm going to do the T56 install, the kit comes with everything you need except for some seals here and there. My only reservation now is that I heard shifting into 3rd gear on the T56 isn't easy. It comes with a short throw on it, but I don't know how effective it's going to be. Does anybody know if Pro 5.0 makes a T56 shifter, I didn't see one on the internet, but I swear I have heard people mention them. Any T56 owners out there that want to provide some guidance here would be most appreciated.
