Severe wheel hop from 89 GT....quad shocks?

Suspension is all stock as far as I know, and this thing wheel hops really bad. Maybe the quad shocks are wore out? Could the shocks also play a role in it?

New quad shocks would help, but you would probably be better off getting some new aftermarket control arms. I run BBK upper and lower and pulled my quad shocks and have no wheel hop.

I agree with Fishhawk. I run Granatelli uppers and lowers with no quad shocks. No wheel hop here.

Well I figured the upper/lower combo would be a little bit of a strain on the ole wallet right now. Not looking to race this car anytime soon, just would like to get rid of the hop.

I would try replacing the quads then, you can still get a Factory pair for a good price.

KYB also makes quad shocks for the mustang with the 8.8 rear.
