I had my MM Subframe connectors welded in this week. The guy that did it only had a wire feed welder, do you think I will have any problems in the future having it done this way? It feels real solid and the welds look like they penetrated ok. I have just heard people say to MIG them in only and I didnt know if it was that important.

It was probably a wire-feed MIG welder, more than likely. Did he use gas? That's how I welded mine in, as I am sure that's how most everyone here welded thiers in. You will be ok.

No, All he had was the flux core wire feed, no gas. I wish it would have been a mig set up.

You will be ok... As long as the welds penetrated good, nothing to worry about. I have ran out of gas when MIG welding, I am guessing it is the same thing or same welds, but with much more splatter. That's seems to be the only difference to me anyway, but I am not the pro like some of these guys on this site.
