Shaker 500... How to install a sub?

OK.. I couldn't find this in the search.. or well atleast not specific.

I have Shaker 500.... I need to tap in for a Sub Amp for the Trunk

I am concerned that if I use a line converter in the rear I wont ge tthe lows because there might be an inline crossover since the factory subs are up front.

I got my eye on adding in a L7 10 or 12" sub with an MTX 421D AMP... Yummy!

You are right about the lows. There is a thread floating around with the wiring diagram of the shaker 500. I installed mine myself and it was a little time consuming but not difficult. If I run into the thread I will post it. I found it by doing a yahoo search. You want to wire it up from behind the dash.

so the rears are not full range... hmmm
