Shaker hood aftermarket intake

I want to run a shaker hood on my 1969 Mach 1. I currently have a 351W with a Performer RPM intake and have been told by several sources that it's too tall.

Does anyone know if a torker II w/o spacer, demon 650 carb will fit with a shaker setup?

Any recommendations are appreciated. I need a decent intake to match up with my performer rpm heads, 650 carb, headers, cam, etc.

have you already purchased the shaker setup? if not you could just use a shorter base like from a big block car. the torker intake is quite a bit shorter than the rpm but i'm not sure it's going be a good intake for you unless you're running a big stroker.
