go get yourself some Injector Cleaner and run it thru with a few tank fulls of good gasoline.

ps, I sometimes run a pint 99% Ethol Alcohol through mine to prevent that on mine.

I concur with Shooterm. Dirty injectors and bad or fouled injectors are totally different issues. To rule out a failing injector, try adding 1/2 can of Sea Foam in a full tank of quality gas. You can get Sea Foam at Auto Zone and most other larger retail parts stores for $6.00 - $8.00 a can.

Sea Foam is a 100% petroleum based product and has been around for decades.

You will be able to rule out dirty injectors versus a mechanically failing injector if it clears up after you run the tank nearly empty.

Let us know how this works for you. It is a far cry better if your car is out of warranty to try this first than to spend $300 - $500 on new injectors when you may not need them.

Injector problems can be confusing to diagnose and expensive to fix, unless you can do it yourself and even then injectors are not cheap. We have an injector issue on our 1998 Cobra right now that is really irritating me. lol

Indeed it is. Go easy on it. It is safe to use as described for a couple tanks. Pleased it worked. Sea Foam is the way to go. If you read the link it can be used in the oil and in the intake as well.
