I want to use the stock heads ('73) with aftermarket intake and headers with larger ports. Just wondering will this setup work without enlarging the head ports?
If the enlargement is a must what kind of drill bit it is best to use to mill some .05 - .1" off the intake/outake ports? Is it OK if it is made of regular steel, or some special hardened alloy is needed to bite cast iron easily ?
