She stalls everytime i have the A/C on

this is beginning to be a real joke. I put in a new IAC and can u believe that it didnt help, now the damn thing stalls with the A/C off. I started at the beginning. The air filter is clean, now im gonna take apart the mass air meter and clean that. the damn TB and EGR and almost new but i did clean them just to be sure. I really dont want to touch the idle on the car cause she idles at 8-900 all the time. Man these cars just find a way to tick u off no matter what it is. God i just love Mustangs i swear.

I have the same problem. I've replaced everything: TPS, IAC...you name it. So I just stopped using the A/C and everything had been fine UNTIL I got an electric fan. Now, when the fan kicks on...the car stalls. It has to be some type of electrical issue. I'm not sure. I really doubt it is a vacuum leak. But I've gone as far as to replace the battery and alternator. Still...no luck. If you happen to figure it out...let me know!

Its obviously an electrical problem. When you turn on the AC something is eating away at your voltage and there isnt enough that can keep the car running. Start somewhere electrical. Forget the IAC it has nothing to do with AC. Its all in the electrical dude.

Unplug both alternator connectors and start the car then hit the A/C. Then you can see if it is an alternator charging problem.

You know, I have seen instances where there is such a powerdraw that the computer components shut down. My starter draws so much juice, the ignition module turns off during cranking. I had to wire direct to the battery.

Not quite. :) The IAC has everything to do with idle compensation for the A/C.

And one reason the puter uses a 5 volt reference for many sensors/systems is to keep voltage fluctuations out of the equation.
