Put a real driver in it and it will go 12's, EASY!! Those things will be running 11's all day with a pulley, exhaust and a programmer within a year, mark my words!

They may even do a high 11 with sticky tires and a great driver. We'll see.

Any car with a manual transmission can be slow with a ****ty driver. An automatic on the other hand, all they gotta do is get the car to hook and hold it to the floor.

I don't know about the GT500, but here in portland they had a Ford GT running low 12s. It actually had less than stellar 60' times, most ground was gained in the topend, but that's their design. They were never meant to be 1/4 mile cars.

Im not worried by initial numbers on anything... They will be fast. I doubt they would be any slower than the 03/04s and I have seen a few go in the mid 12s stock.

Those motors are insane. You thought the o3-o4 cobra's were bad.. There are going to be PLENTY of 750-800 RWHP GT500's popping up very shortly with minimal mods... i am sure someone is going to go into the 10's with basic mods before the end of the year...

MM&FF already got a 12.2x@117mph? I already gave the magazine to a friend. I'm with quikstang, I believe that with just a turbokit, that 5.4L GT500 is going to make north of 700 rwhp. I'm getting my fox ready for 'em as we speak.
