The car looks good but the hood is weird. I have seen these a lot lately is it to keep wind drag down. Personally I like the standard cowl hood, but to each there own.

So....after another long wait (and its not over), I recieved the fuse box cover and brake master cylinder cover from Moroso. NOT IMPRESSED with the craftsmanship, fit, or finish! Both pieces use velcro (expected), however, the fuse box cover is nearly twice the size of the factory one so it makes it tricky to get a good center on it where it wont look tacky (overhang). The brake cover has a notch to clear the cylinder on the brake setup but it still wouldnt clear so I had to turn it in the opposite direction and this seemed to work alil better (for some reason). Pics arent greatest, but have a look.....welds are unfinished in places, and both parts are scratched to hell....

I don't get it. What does it do? It's just a cosmetic "cover"?

Again, my points w/ you are not to ridicule, they are to understand what something is that your're doing. It is after all YOUR money to waste.
If the things are cosmetic, and are flawed, I don't care if they came from Mongolia,...... they'd be going back.

Yeah, if they have a clear aodized coating on them there's not much else you can do. BUT, if they're not coated just whip out the polishing compound and a buffer and in a few minutes they'll be blinding.

Its been a month or more since Ive done anything other than wait! I just recieved the Moroso coolant tank, and still waiting on their power steering resevoir. I picked up some Power Slot rotors, Hawk pads, Maxim Motorsports SS brake lines, Nitrous Outlet ashtray mount switch panel and an Autometer A/F guage. Im going to install everything at once after I buy a few more pieces, and Ill post pics then. I think Ill ditch the A/F for a wideband unit tho. Its overheating, I know the fans arent coming on but hadnt had time to mess with it. Its also got a leaky heater core which I believe could be cause since the coolants not making a complete circuit?? The paint has been on hold due to paying the insurance deductable to have my wifes 2 week old car fixed after I backed it into a concrete light pole which was misplaced in the middle of the parking lot at the local Andy's Custard. Other than that, Im in the middle of moving to top it all off, but this gives me a chance to see whats in the ol garage! I know I have some Eibach drag launch springs (fronts only), stock hood-latch-and cable assembly, factory coolant tank, wiper assembly-arms-motor-new blades, and an Autometer phantom 2 1/16 A/F guage I think I'll sale or trade for some other things, and who knows what else, so keep your eye on the classifieds!

Sooo...the PS resevoir came today, FINALLY, the last of the 4 Moroso pieces I've been waiting on. I have to say, 3 outta 4 pieces look like total dog **** and I've decided they will be going back, so along comes another 4-5 month wait I'm sure, but its money spent and I want it to look right! I talked to the sales manager and asked him about the wait times and whether or not they had a quality control inspection before shipping product, he just gave me the run around. Makes you wonder how a "reputable" co. stays around 45 yrs. or any amnt. of time for that matter....Oh well, not worth any more of my time or energy bashing them, we'll see what happens and I will get pics up, I promise!
