This is my first manual so I'm not sure if there is any issue at all and wanted to hear from everyone. I've noticed that when I shift from 1st to 2nd I hear what sounds like a clunking sound. If I didn't know any better it sounds like there is slack in the transition or maybe in the drive line. The shifting is a little notchy but nothing I'm worried about yet (no grinding). The clunking only happens between 1st and 2nd and only when accelerating (at any speed... easy or hard). I've tried to gun it and let off the gas without clutching and there is no clunk so slack might not be the issue. I took it to the dealer and they said it was normal for that tranny. It could be but I figured I'd ask to be sure.
