Shift kits

Hello. I have a 93' LX with an AOD, and I just read about this shift kits. I was wondering how much improvement do they make to a factory aod, and if a Transgo performance shift kit is a good kit (they are not that expensive so I wonder if they're good.

First, the difference will be HUGE!! Double huge if you get a torque convertor, which should be very high on your must buy list.

Second, Transgo has a good reputation. I've never used them though.

Third, I have used a Baumann Engineering shift kit and it was top shelf, easy to setup and worked great. Cheaper than Transgo too.

Go with the transgo kit. I know someone who has had it on thier mustang for a while now matched up with 4:10's. Every AOD Ive ever seen had a transgo and it worked great.
