Shifter base.....

What kind of shifter base can I buy cheap to put this on. And are used shifters ok for the most part?

That has ribs on the bottom of the handle to mate to a Hurst comp. plus bottom. I bought the whole set 1-1/2 years ago brand new and today I just replaced it with a new Pro-5.0.

Reason being? The base is cast and wears out prematurely! Any "BILLET" base will be your best bet. You can always rig it up somehow to work on anything.

buy it and bolt it up to whatever 5-spd you've got now. it'll bolt up to a T-5, T-45, 3550, TKO or TKO 2.

Its just the handle, boot, knob and bezel. It doesnt come with the actual shifter part. I was hoping I could mate it to a pro5.0 or the like. Anyone else?

You can mate it to a Pro5.0
