Shifter Knob Question ?

Just installed a TCI Ratchet Shifter and wanted to get a round chrome knob for the handle. I ordered a Mr. Gasket #9627 and see that the outer diameter is only 1 5/8", which seems small.

Is that a typical size ?

Any other suggestions ?

Sorry GTJeff, I just now saw your post here, I would not have been able to answer your question tho, but I do have a question for you.

How do you like the TCI Ratchet Shifter? I have been looking into one myself, was the install easy?

Yes, I do like it. The hardest part of the install was taking off the linkage under the car.
