so i was replacing my drive gear on my transmission, and when putting my shifter block back on, i think the ball moved up to 3rd gear detent, because now when the block is in 3rd, the trans is in neutral. and now the fun part- when i try to shift it into neutral (which in my case would be 4th gear) it catches 4th gear and i can't pull the block out all the way to neutral position. so the pin is stuck in it!!
what can i do to get the pin out? we've already tried extracting it. punching it is no good because of the detents not being right, the pin won't fall out the bottom
