Shifting

Where should i be shifting when racing. Just got a shift light need to know what pill to set it at. My car is mostly stock (all the bolt ons) though i will have h/c/i done by the end of sept.

Assuming you have a 87-93 5.0...I would shift around 54-5500...seemed to work best for me...and I have most of the bolt-ons also...working on my FTI h/c/i intake right now...so you'll know what I'm going through here in a couple months

Set it at 5600 and go for it

really depends on your mods and how they were set up (degree cam, etc). need more info, IMHO.
