I've noticed the first couple years of our body style has a strut tower brace, but mine doesn't have one. Am I supposed to have a brace and maybe it was removed? If there isn't supposed to be one, would it be worth getting one? Thanks.
i think the 94-95 5.0's were the only ones that had to STB in it. I would say get one, would help make the front a bit stiffer.
They dont cost to much. Usually you can find the 94-98 ones on ebay for 50 or 60 bucks.
my car has one, i'm the second owner of my 1997 gt conv. The guy I bought it off of said it has every option except the cobra option. Mine has the strut brace and kinda a k-member bracket that goes underneathe the tranny. Hope that some way helps ya.
