Been looking for a shock tower brace for my hatchback.. I remember a nice one from Snow performance but they don't seem to make it anymore. I need one just to stiffen up that rear. The car was in in a rough accident many years ago and that rear flexes too much ever since. I have subframe connectors welded on, a strut tower brace, and I just need the rear to tie it together. Any ideas where to get one?

Ever consider making your own? It's probably one of the most basic parts you'll every make for your car.

Copied from the William R Mathis Mustang Performance Handbook 2

thanks guys! I would try to make one myself as it does look quite simple but.... I have no welder. So, That SMR piece looks like it'll work well. Seems like I'm gonna have to trim some plastic back there to fit but thats ok.. nothing back there but a sub box and a battery.

You only need to trim a corner off both shock access panels.

I've sold sooo many of these things for that company I should get commission. LOL

Absolutely worthless from a functional, performance standpoint, unless it triangulates the top of one tower to the bottom of the other, and even then...questionable tradeoff for the weight.
