Shops in Jersey for Jerry Mod and 4.10 gears?

I can tell you for certain that a transmission cooler, jerry mod shift kit, and gears are great mods for the automatic. Anyone who tells you any differently doesn't know what they're talking about. Yes, they will be fine and are perfect for a daily driven car. Don't listen to people who tell you that "4.10 gears are too much" either as these people don't know what they're talking about. 4.10's and 4.30 gears are optimal gears for the 99-04 4.6ltr GT's, especially the automatics.

As for either a programmer or chip, contact Superchips tuning and talk to them. They have a great staff on hand ready to support you and best of all, Jerry Wroblewski(designer of "jerry mod shift kit") works for them. They'll probably recommend a custom burned chip over a programmer. However, they'll probably recommend a dyno tune over anything else, so if you can arrange a dyno tune, I'de do that instead.

As for shops in New Jersey, I personally don't know of any. However, you are up there in NJ where a lot of the guys from Modular Depot are at so I'de say go to www.modulardepot.com and post this same question over there and see if any of the guys there can't come "help a brother out" with the install.
