Are you talking about a short-throw shifter, as in replacement of the crappy, sloppy stock unit?

Several good choices, steeda tri-ax, pro-5.0.

One Awsome choice from what I've seen/read - MGW shifter

I have a tri-axe with a UPR handle and am pretty happy, but I really like the looks of the MGW shifter. If I was starting over, I would go that way.
