Interior and Upholstery Short Shifter Arm Suggestions

Can I REMOVE the stock shifter handle ONLY, while keeping the oem transmission setup? And replace it with a Hurst/Steeda/FRPP or other HANDLE? I want a flat stick for my shift ball, not a tacky boot retainer. Thanks!

I know it's a little late but no. The way the factory shifter is designed it's all one piece.
