i was going to go for a mild shortblock and some stage 3 heads for 1500.00 from patriot but after reading up on the heads i see there are a lot of bad xp out there with those heads

so i am going for a very strong shortblock and will just have to save up for the heads later

so far i am looking at

mph shortblock ----->not making shortblocks any more
mmr 1100 shortblock (3500.00)
haney motorsports shortblock 4.6l stroker = 5.0l (3095.00) any work with these guys be for

dss makes a shortblock as well any one else i should consider for a nice shortblock

and any one else hear any thing bad a bout patriot heads or should i maybe still give them a look

ps my goal is a 600rwhp street car

MPH still sells short and long blocks, you have to call them right now though because they are updating the price list on the internet store.

New Econo Block coming out shortly under 3 grand hold 600ish HP... gotta look it up I'm too lazy to link for you right now.

get the MMR 900 - great price "900 HP capable shortblock is $2899.99 (fully forged-1 year warranty)"
Plus that 4.6 stroker deal i think is made by the same place that makes stuff for MMR since MMR has the same deal for that shortblock. BTW - dont waste money on stage III heads - not the worst flowing heads stock. And you could always get them ported for like $750

I dont know of Cushman Motorsports is selling shortblocks but if he is I waould go there. He was one of the head guys from VT Engines which made awsome shortblocks and is what Im running in my car. If not MPH would be just as good.
