Yes there is. Most of my friends have some fear of wire loom and rerouting wires. That's by far the cheapest & most reasonable way to do it.

so can someone tell me which shorty headers wouldn't give me problems with changing my sparkplugs for my 95 cobra? (stock gt40 heads) . I heard the ford ones are good but i wanna know what else so i can see what are my price options.

I think these guys were confusing heads here. I wouldn't think you would have ANY sparkplug clearance issues with those heads. The GT40P (Explorer/Mountaineer) heads are where the problem arises. The plugs exit straight out of the head.... whereas the plugs on your Cobra's GT40's exit at an angle. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.........

Dammit, and I'm about to get some equal lengths, oh well... I'll put up with spark plugs, I won't need to change them often.

Chris, do yourself a favor and get the unequal length shorties. When I had equal lengths I could never get the #8 spark plug to tighten all the way and tightening anything around or on the header was a major PITA. Installing them was also a huge hassel compared to my brother's unequal lengths. You don't get much performance gain from equal lengths compared to unequal lengths for all of the hassel. Either that or get yourself a nice set of long tubes (all of the benefits of unequal lengths with reagards to changing plugs and tightening bolts and more HP and torque) and call it a day!

Nope, it's as easy as unequal lengths. Equal lengths OTOH are a PITA.
