Good or bad, or should I just leave it be? I have an adjustable timing chain set up, just for kicks would it give the engine more low end power if I advance the Steeda 19 by 2 or 4 degrees. Im bored and feel like experimenting.

The 19 is kinda lazy til around 2800...Moving it down some would be a good thing. I added 373 to help some.. If opening it up again I'd move mine..
I would check the PV for sure...I had plenty of room on both I & E and my heads were milled some.
I may try this, I am putting a 19 in my car. Why would you need to check PTVC? Does advancing it chage the (for lack of a better term) geometry of the valves and cam?

Retarding the camshaft will open the exhaust valve earlier, and the intake valve later. This will increase clearances on the intake side, but decrease them by the same amount on the exhaust side.
Advancing the camshaft will open the intake valve earlier, the exhaust valve later. This will increase clearances on the exhaust side, but decrease them by the same amount on the intake side.
So yes, you will need to check PTV clearances when playing with the camshaft timing. You want minimum clearance (rule of thumb) to be .08" on the intake and .1" on the exhaust.

If anyone cares, the stock pushrods weren't long enough for my (stock) pedestal-mounts with the new cam.
