hey guys, as you can tell by my sig im mostly into the 8cyl mustangs, but have no problem (turboed or n/a) with a good 4cyl fox. anyways, heres my delimna:

a friend of mine just bought a bike (kawi z1000, but thats not important) and he has an 84 svo sitting at his parents house that he said he would let go.

heres a rough outline of what the car is like:
84 svo, primer grey (real primer though) with blue/grey int.
aftermarket wheels (kinda look like those roh's) with basically an all stock motor and tranny. the only problem is that the turbo needs replaced. he knows im in no hurry to buy anything right now, so he didn't sugar coat anything. but he said the reason he parked it, is because the turbo went out on him, and he didn't have the money to fix it. its got 130k on it, and he said it doesn't leak much, but might need a tuneup. he also said he has a bunch of spare parts for it, which im going to look at this week, so i'll see it in person then, but i was just curious if 1300 was too much.

thanks guys, and i'll see if i can't get an update later this week.

Sounds like a good deal, the interior is suppose to be charcoal though, its just faded pobably. Definately if you decide to buy it, go through the whole engine and replace all the gaskets and new plugs and wires and other ignition components. And then put a holset on that sucker and a 100 horse shot of nos!:nice:

nice, well it looks like im in good shape here. i was supposed to look at it today after work, but he had some problems with his new bike that he had to adress.

one more question...
what would it take to get me in the 14's with this (at 5280ft.) remember, at my altitude it is a second difference then sea level.

thanks guys, and i should be looking at it within the next few days
