Here is the story. I got these wheels and tires new from a pro ballplayer that I am friends with. He traded in the BMW 760 that they were on, and gave me the wheels for maintaining his cars. I set up a trade with a guy that has a brand new vortech sq, because I thought they wouldnt fit my stang. when I took the wheels off of the Bimmer, I found that they are duel bolt pattern, and they do fit perfectly.

My question is do I keep them and sell the TTII's or trade them for the vortech and sell it (I have a KB and it aint coming off). Give me your thoughts.

The car with 17" TTII's

The car with 20" Lowenhart LD-5's 20x8.5 in front with 255/30-20 Potenza rubber. Out back is 20x10.5 with 285/30-20 Potenza rubber.

hard to say, those look big on there for sure, I dont mean too big but they look pretty big, where as 18s look just right and 17s look good.

Got those for free eh thats awesome, how much are they worth? So your going to sell them no matter what or no?

You have more pics? and is that the boss wing? or s281 kinda hard to tell from the pics

I am going to trade them for a new SQ vortech, then sell it, but I am always open to new trade or sale options. At least until next tuesday, then they are gone.

91LX5L- The rims and tires cost $6700 new. Must be nice to make $12,000,000 a year huh?

Even though they look damn good, I'd ditch them and take the money.

First of all Yellow is my favorite color and TTII's are my favorite wheel.

Besides.......... I bet those other wheels are HEAVY and they would just slow you down

btw.......I'll be a pickin your brain at a latter date cause I see a 2200 Zilla Dilla in my future

they don't look as rediculous as i thought they would... but they do look too big. Those are awesome wheels, they just don't fit this application

you could sell the wheels, get a blower and 17's or 18's w/ the same design for that money

i like ur car how it stood though w/ the ttii

"Besides.......... I bet those other wheels are HEAVY and they would just slow you down"

I was hoping someone would bring this up! The best reason to use a larger wheel is to allow the use of larger brakes. You will lose acceleration ability with a larger rim. It's not just that there is more material there. The real kicker is how far away from the center of the wheel the weight is. Leverage starts kicking your ass when the wheels get bigger.

If you are looking for a performance ride, pitch the wheels and get the boost!
If you want a pimp ride forget about the boost, and keep the pimpin' wheels.
Depends on what your objectives are with the car.

I want a pimpin fast ride.lol I already took them off and polished them up. So most of oyu think that these wheels for a bran new in box vortech SQ isnt a fair trade? I just thought it would be easier to move the vortech then the wheels. what do you think?

Grady- Get the Blow/Flow. You will absolutely love it.

Vortechs are around 3 grand and you are trading mint condition 6500 rims for them?

Not mint condition, Good condition 3 year old wheels and tires. There is no curb rash etx, but there is some very slight bubbling of the chrome in places. Remember, I dont have a dime in these wheels. Just looking to move them for something I can use or sell easily. I posted the wheels on a BMW forum with pics, and got ridiculous offers like $500. I just dont know how big the market is for wheels like this.

I think you should try selling the wheels on ebay.

I dont think you guys read. HE HAS A KB BLOWER lol. Hes concidering trading these for a blower to sell and make some money.

Yeah those retail at 6500 is what your saying right? Look on ebay for the value that they actually sell for. In the internet world retail means **** all. Plus im sure the rubber is past 50% if there 3 years old. Those are beautiful wheels but just dont look right on your stang.

It will be quite a bit easier to sell a SC then it is to sell those wheels.

Is the SC for 94-95s?

Ill trade my used Vortech for them, and put them on my wife's Navigator...IMO, that's where THOSE rims belong.
