Should I replace my a/c dryer when I replace my compressor and a/c line?

Its about a year old, at most. I replaced it before, and then i broke my condensor. So its been sitting with a open system for maybe a month, hten I taped it up in hopes i would save it. Then I bought a new condensor, put it in and tried to recharge my system when the shrader valve on my a/c line wont close right so it leaks a little. Im gonna buy a new compressor, a/c line and get it charged and I wanted to know if I should get a new dryer too. Its sickening, i havent had a/c in a year in a half but ive been through 3 condensors, 2 a/c lines and a dryer already. Now I need another a/c line and a compressor. A/C is a pain in the ass!

technically everytime you open the ac system you are supposed to replace the receiver/drier.

the dessicant(sp) only holds a few drops of moisture--down in FL you wiped that out in 2 hours.

you can take your chances, but if it were me i would replace it.

you also should wash out the system ontop of replacing the dryer and the orphus tube if it has one. the cleaner is a special stuff that you should be able to pick up at the parts store just run the thru the lines and blow them out, otherwise you could be back replacing things again soon.

When I did my truck, we just took everything off and blew it out with a air hose for like 5 minutes on each seperate peice. It still works fine.
