When I put my rebuild motor back in the car... since I have a new cam installed... should I replace the dizzy drive gear since it's has (if it's the stock one) 165k on it. And even if not... it's still would have some wear I guess, my thinking is you would want new gears messing and not one new one old, but I could be wrong...

And if so... which one is correct the bronze or steal one for roller cam (I believe the steal is the correct one)? And how do you replace it....

The gear would have to be pressed off the shaft to he replaced fairly simple. There is a roll pin to remove to make this happen. Not sure what material to use for the gear Google will know. I wouldn't worry about it myself if the distributor gear looks good leave it be.
