Doesn't matter anyway... Ls1's are slow turds... I smoked one with my stock 94 9C1 Caprice daily driver.

Wether we want to admit it or not. We all know ls1's are faster than 5.0's.

Stock for stock, sure. But if we start modifying, all bets are off!

Huh, I usually don't have a problem with them. People don't know how to drive... This run was with low compression in 3 cylinders... after I pulled the rings off, 3 of the pistons fell apart. So while I was at it, I added a bigger cam.

Yes, this was in eliminations, and yes, I broke out, but even if the lights were even I would have taken him. I ran a slow 13.4 to his 13.8.

And yes, my post above was a joke. I was driving a stock 89 GT 5 speed, and got left by an Ls1 like nobodies business.

My car wasn't running too great in that video... A lot of the time you can just out drive them. My car comes off the line pretty hard for a Daily Driver with daily used drag radials... drove 100 miles to the track cutting 1.8's.

And yes, I would say around 320 to the ground without the low compression I had at the time... Ls1's are know to put down 300 to the wheels stock or with a lid and catback. Some even put down that much stock.

I said a lot of time YOU can out drive them as in people in the forums... All I have to do is get a good launch and keep it on the floor... when I get some time in the states a 6 speed will be going in. I am tired of going through Automatics... Anyways, where are the pictures of your ride? How are you liking it so far?

I don't have a camera. But, so far not to bad. The power makes my stang look like a v6. The main downfall is the ty visibility.

Yeah, the visibility isn't the greatest in these cars, and they have a very long nose on them... Other than that, how are you liking the auto? With my old cam, I was neck and neck with an auto ls1 camaro from a roll. I destroyed him from a dig though. I was impressed, they are no joke from a roll.

I actually like it. It's nice not constantly shifting and not worrying about rolling into some one on a hill.
