This pic does not show the old style V8 emblem on the passenger side very well. It is from the 32 Ford Vickys. Used that to balance with the running horse and the lights are just generic 3.5" clear lense with 55 watt bulbs.

i like the idea of having them behind the grill, that what i was looking for. i have the shelby front valence and thought about putting them in there, like on the 67-68s but since the opening isnt very big the lights seem to be a little bulky. i will be using 5" lights. i have some transparent paint i got from a hobbyshop that im thinking about painted the lenses with, so if i put them behind the grill they dont stand out to much.

more pics...thanks

a nice close up. something like the 68 shelby

I mounted mine low because you can't see them unless you squat down and look under the car. They are also projector halogens, and have a nice cutoff and really light up the road, almost better than the headlights :)

Used some creative bracket making to get em on, they basically are mounted right on the frame.

They don't look to bad. I would relocate them so they are centered on the area between the edge of the stirpe and the edge of the grill and then move the emblem a bit more away from the one. As for the size, what about doing a black paint trim on the outer edge, just covering the metal ring around the lens. No paint on the lense. That would make them look a bit smaller.

Look for Hella Optilux Projector on ebay. There are many styles, I have a 55watt H3 in my set(come standard), and they are awesome. Make sure its projector type. Some autozones carry the generic brand, and you are looking at 50 bucks either way. Just make sure its the projector type. I have the autozone brand ones, my friend has the hella brand ones... they are exactly the same.
