I'm getting ready to purchase a set of rear drag radials and need help on choosing the size I did. I currently have 18"x10" DD Bullets on the rear with 275/40-18 tires. What is the biggest DR I can fit on these rims and on my car. The rear is lowered around 1" with the Roush lowering springs. Pics would be great in helping me decide. I use the car as a show and go car so I need to mount them on my current rims, swapping rim size is not an option.

Either the MT ET Street 315 or the M&H 325. What RPM are you trapping at right now and what's your current rubber size?

Current rear tire size is 275/40-18's with 3:73 rear gears and the car is an automatic. I havent had a chance to go to the strip yet, really dont want to until I get a sticker rear tire. The current tires break loose too easy and I dont wont to take the chance on kissing the wall at the strip.

I would say with a centri s/c, you should be fine going with the MT. Have you had the car dyno'd? If so, where does your torque really take off, and what are you wanting to launch at?

The M&H's are taller, so they effectively lower your gearing. But, they give you more sidewall for a harder launch.

I have the new MT Street DRs and I really like them! Granted the size I have (265/40-18) won't do you any good if you want to mount it on a 10" wide wheel, but the tire will hook! There is a GT500 with the same exact tire size as mine that runs 1.5x short times, so I know the tire should be good for you. I had zero issues with them even being aired down to 15 psi.

MT ET Streets. **** a radial :D Note, I never drove on these things on the street for more than 5 miles. I'd put them on in the driveway, drive to the track and come home and swap. No trailer FTL :(

Heavy, I never get tired of looking at your car....Those super beefy nittos with the deep dish lip just look SO nice on your car.

Sorry to de-rail the thread a bit, but how far are you lowered?

Thanks bro...

I have the Eibach Pro kit installed so whatever that is lowered...probably about 1 1/2 inches.
