Show Me Your Tint

If you have gotten a tint post some pics on this thread with the percent and price. Trying to get some ideas on what I'll be paying and what percent I should get.

no pics, but my favorite is 20%. Dark enough you can't really see in, yet doesn't impact ability to see out all that much

I just tell my guy to do it one step darker into illegal, which he says is 14% (In Florida, 28% on front windows is legal). I think he did the whole car for $175-$185 under the table. All five windows, plus a strip at the top of the windshield.

25% sides and rear. 70% front window. I got ceramic tint so it was on the expensive side. $500. I live in Fl so it was worth it just to keep the heat out. On a hot sunny day you can put your hand up next to the window inside, and not feel any heat coming through.

I live in Florida too I was thinking 25 or 20 percent

34% all around (Illinois law). If I recall, it was between $250-300 for 5 windows.

damn, thats expensive. My guy charges $125, and has done at least 10 cars for me perfectly

Mine was $189, high quality only at his shop. Contour Tint in Chantilly, VA. Got my wife's Accord tinted there in '12 and it still looks perfect. $209 for a 4 door. Actually, I think there was a 10 or 20 dollar discount for cash...

I got the legal tint level in the back and carried it forward to the fronts. It's illegal, but it looks the way it should. No where near limo tint.

I'm planning on doing some tinting. Did you do it yourself or did you take it to be done for you?

I got this video and it seems pretty simple. What do you think?

I could've gotten mine done for $200 but it wasn't ceramic. The price was higher because I had the entire front windshield done. Not just a strip at the top.

I think it's really illegal to do the front one.

So is doing all your windows at 20%. It isn't noticeable at all, day or night, but it really keeps the heat out.

I think ceramic is around 300 but I'll get a couple quotes and see what I get cause there's so many different types of tints

15% all around - with a 5% strip on the windshield. $125

The guy who tinted it for me is a cop. LOL. Breakin the law, breakin the law, breakin the law - in my best Judas Priest voice.
