Thanks Dave! I learn something new every day.

My interior mods are pretty basic. 03 GT front seats with the rears recovered to match and replacing the sagging door pockets with perforated leather left over from the seat project.

I had to order a new shifter boot and e-brake boot after seeing this thread. They just got here. My question is: Did you all follow the redline installation instructions? Did you really use velcro? If not, how did you to it?

When i put in the e-brake boot, yes I followed the directions. I used the super strength velcro and applied it to the console. You can get it at wal-mart in the craft section. Just make sure you clean the plastic good with alcohol for a good stick.

Thanks, I can hardly believe it has been on the car 2 yrs this November. I moved to a house where I have to set the e-brake on a hill and it is so much nicer not having to worry about that silly rubber insert coming loose.

I made the gauge panel , switch panel in the cluster out of carbon fiber in my '86 coupe. I also cut some out & epoxied it to the passenger side dash piece. Still not finished, need a few more things to finish it up. Steering wheel kit is on its way so I can mount the new wheel. along with a pillar pod to mount my wideband & shift light.

Yes, my shift knob is a cue ball. I can't justify spending $40 or more on a damn knob.
