I bought an 89 LX 5.0 5 speed and few weeks ago from the original owner,a woman! She bought it new and was garage kept and only drove it 9K miles since 96.It has all options except sunroof. The 2 mods are replacement mufflers and dealer bought ponies.car was rustproofed new and ext/interior are showroom.been detailing it and getting rustcoat off door/hinges/hatch and underhood.Simply amazing condition,it has 73K miles and I paid $5100.00

This is day after I got home, engine compartment has now been brought up to speed. She had all maint done by the dealer where purchased. What a lucky find!

Thanks, the yellow stuff is not rust,it rust preventive gunk that was removed with WD-40.She had black carpeted floor mats in the car and when I lifted them up underneath was an as new set of mustang embroidered smoke gray mats. The original paint came back with a nice polish and wax,she kept the interior pristine and the exterior clean just not polished. The only thing keeping it from looking like a new car is the 1/4 windows.

after seeing alot of theese pics of bone stock "excellent" shape cars I think mine is the same.....just a little dirty under the hood from dust and Krown but mine has the air silencer (or did) and it even has the black rubber piece covering the plug on the upper intake that I have never seen on another pic before.

Looks clean. I couldnt help but notice the "she." Probably means the car has been pampered its whole life. Nice find! Clean it all up, fresh tune up and enjoy it stock or go right for a turbo kit!

The quarter windows are an easy fix. Take them out...sand them, prime them with many coats, sanding inbetween and then paint them flat black and use a low luster clear coat. I did an old fox of mine and my friends current 90 GT...they look great!
