Hey I just got boo'ed out of the wrong forum, so..... I'll ask here...
I did search already and came up with nothing, so please don't say to search.

side pipes... anyone have pics? I want to know their path under the stang...(custom classic design I believe, is who makes them, same company who makes the Mach 1 scoops for other 'stangs), or at least find out how you'd set up the MIL eliminators on them with the x-pipe(if there is something special you have to do, or if they reach).

So in short:
Pics of side pipes (under the vehicle)
MIL's, do they reach with sidepipes, if not what has to be done to fit them.

also, if anyone knows... what is the stock 1/4 mile time for a 96' GT with a 5spd. (i don't feel like searching that, and I assume if I did I'd never be albe to search through the thousands that would come up)

I hope I get a better response here, as far as welcoming me to the forum.

The CDC side exhaust kit is a catback system. It bolts on from the H-pipe back...so MIL's or cats are not affected by this kit. I chose to replace my stock h-pipe with the MRT Stainless Steel catted H-pipe because the stock h-pipe had 6 cats! The MRT only has 2 cats. No MIL eliminators were necessary. I'm happy with the sound of the h-pipe combined with the Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers. The only downside is that sometimes I miss the exhaust tips coming out the back when I see another GT with purty chrome tips. There's a good write-up on the CDC side-kit install complete with with pics here.

For a good idea of how it sounds check out Mustang Exhaust.

Spintech side exhaust is by far the best Side exhaust i've had

Roush is the best looking exhaust... there are many people that will agree with me.

No offence to Steeda and Borla, but their side exhausts are just not cutting it.

Roush works and you can get some other mufflers that are short (i.e. 1 chamber flows) and curve a pipe pretty easy
I have a pic but its too big to post.. if you want a roush pic email me at wms004@yahoo.com

I'd get some rims/tires/suspension before putting money into side exhaust, but it is nice to have a good sound when you drive down the street.

Meh.. i already have my mind set on dynomax super turbos (thats what I had on Cobravic and I loved the sound), I'm also not doing much until I get the car paid off (rims and tires are an exception) I know how much these are hated upon here but where I live (saskatoon) nobody has them... Bullitts (the black ones), I think I will order them sometime before summer.

Then once it's payed off, mod time.
