but yeah sucks about that, at least u had a lift, i did mine on the ground outside WITHOUT it jacked up midnight middle of winter literally 10 degrees out. My friend bench pressed the tank up in place while I bolted up the straps. Just think it coulda been worse
and plus as soon as I got mine running after the fuel pump, my lifters and battery went that same day, and the master cylinder a few days later same week, o and then a blow out on a 7k mile tire. I know how you feel.....

either way i wasn't the dumb ass going nearly twice the posted limit...
