Simco/Autometer Gauge cluster needle question

I just received my Simco Cluster in the mail to day.

When I tilt the cluster all the needles move. They move slowly. Is this normal? Did anyones Simco or Autometer clusters do the same?

Hey bud, I don't have that particular cluster, but I have replaced the cluster on my '88 several times, and every time I remember needles doing that.

you can breathe on em and they'll move -at least the stockers will. I wouldn't be alarmed.

Once I connect them and turned on the car everything went back to the normal position. Everything works great and the gauges are right on with the reading. I'll post pics once I buy batteries for my camera.
