My 2003 GT started a skip a couple of months ago I attributed to a failing ignition coil (it’s happened before), I thought I’d wait it out and use my scanner when it got bad enough to draw a check engine light. Now, it hasn’t gotten worse, and it’s only at lower engine speeds, but now I smell something sweet......smells to me like coolant....but I’m not noticing the coolant level lowering over the past week. Incidentally, I also have a new rack and pinion leak that’s being blown onto the left catalytic converter but doubt that smells like coolant....any ideas? Possible blown head gasket?
